Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer for our Budapest office to make our team even stronger.
As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and robust software systems for space applications.

• Develop RTEMS or Linux applications, including subsystem command and data handling, low-level hardware control, automation, custom interfaces, and communication software for space systems and ground support equipment

• Perform full software life cycle functions, including requirements, architecture, design, code, test, integration, documentation, and support

• Shape and develop software development processes, methods and tools

• Maintain contact with international space agencies

• Gain an understanding of the operations of the great space systems currently in mission

• Follow the ECSS standard during the development process

• You will have the opportunity to take business trips

• Utilize tools such as Docker, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, MISRA, Parasoft, GitLab

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development

• Comprehensive knowledge in C/C++ programming

• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets

• Ability to think at system-level and work across multiple disciplines

• Ability to work independently

• Good problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in English

• Experience in programming ARM MCUs and/or microprocessors and working with any embedded RTOS or Linux

• Knowledge of ISO and/or ECSS standards

• Programming experience in scripting and automation

• Any experience in FPGA and hardware development
