Financial Controller

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller who goes beyond reporting—someone who can interpret data, understand the financial dynamics of complex projects, and deliver real added value to the organization.

• Coordinate and further develop annual and rolling planning processes (budgeting and forecasting)

• Lead financial planning, costing, and monitoring of projects

• Oversee and continuously improve project accounting processes

• Support month-end closing and perform variance analysis (actual vs. plan)

• Prepare financial reports and analyses in accordance with HAS and IFRS, ensuring alignment between standards

• Act as a trusted business partner, providing financial insights to stakeholders

• Develop financial models for complex projects

• Maintain active collaboration with the shareholder’s finance team, delivering high-quality reporting and analysis

• Participate in audits and contribute to strengthening the internal control environment

• University degree in Finance, Business, or related field equivalent

• Professional level experience in accounting, finance reporting standards (minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience)

• Solid knowledge of HAS; IFRS knowledge is an advantage

• Expertise in project costing and project accounting

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

• Business-oriented mindset with a proactive, value-added approach

• Excellent communication skills in both Hungarian and English

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team

• Experience in related fields (technological or engineer organization)

• Experience in ERP development
