Lead Accountant

Do you have solid experience in end-to-end accounting and are you ready to combine your financial expertise with team leadership? For our Partner’s accounting team in Munich, we are looking for an experienced professional who enjoys taking ownership, supporting colleagues and helping ensure that accounting operations run efficiently and accurately.

• Managing and supporting a team of 5–6 accounting professionals

• Overseeing daily accounting activities and coordinating monthly and annual closing processes

• Monitoring and supporting tax-related activities

• Ensuring tax returns, statistical reports and other required submissions are completed accurately and on time

• Reviewing existing processes and contributing to their continuous improvement

• Guiding and mentoring junior team members, including reviewing their work and supporting their professional development

• Taking an active role in resolving accounting-related issues and supporting the wider finance function

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting

• Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel

• Intermediate level of English with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment

• Strong analytical and organisational skills

• A responsible, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently

• Previous experience in a team lead or people management position
