Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the internal platform that powers application delivery across hybrid and cloud environments. You will work hands-on with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm and CI/CD tooling to create reliable, scalable and reusable infrastructure solutions. A key part of the role is enabling development teams through self-service workflows, automation and standardized platform capabilities, while also contributing to observability, security and operational reliability. You will work closely with engineers across the organization to turn technical challenges into practical platform improvements.

• Build and improve internal platform capabilities that support application delivery across data centers and cloud environments.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.

• Operate and improve Kubernetes-based environments, including deployment standards, observability, troubleshooting, and lifecycle tasks.

• Contribute to self-service workflows, reusable templates, documentation, and automation that help developers ship faster and more safely.

• Work closely with developers to understand delivery bottlenecks and translate them into platform improvements.

• Support reliability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis for platform services.

• Collaborate with security and senior engineers to implement guardrails, access controls, compliance automation, and secure-by-default patterns.

• Help standardize platform tooling and operational practices across hybrid and distributed environments.

• Experience: 3-5+ years in DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles.

• Containers & Kubernetes: Strong practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production or near-production environments.

• Automation: Good working knowledge of Terraform, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting/automation.

• Cloud & infrastructure: Experience with at least one major cloud provider; Microsoft Azure is preferred.

• Operations mindset: Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and improve reliability through automation and observability.

• Developer collaboration: Proven ability to work directly with software engineers and translate their needs into platform solutions.

• Communication: Clear, pragmatic communication in English with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in telecommunications, VoIP, financial services, energy, government, or other regulated environments.

• Experience with low-latency or geographically distributed workloads.

• Hands-on exposure to Rancher, OpenShift, Azure Arc, AKS, Azure Edge Essentials, Argo CD, Flux, Istio, or Cilium.

• Experience building internal developer tools, CLIs, service templates, or platform APIs.

• Understanding of policy-as-code, compliance automation, cost controls, or platform governance.
