Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager on behalf of our dynamically developing partner with an international background, operating in the rubber manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, achieving production targets, and maintaining the required quality and efficiency standards. We are looking for an experienced professional who is confident in leading production teams, has a strong background in a manufacturing environment, and is motivated by continuous improvement, Lean principles, and creating efficient operational processes.

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan and monitor daily production schedules to ensure the timely manufacturing of rubber hoses.

• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, raw materials, and machinery.

• Oversee critical manufacturing processes such as extrusion, braiding, curing, and vulcanization.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Monitor and control material rejection, rework, and waste to maintain profitability.

• Ensure finished hoses adhere to strict automotive or industrial standards (e.g., IATF 16949).

• Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and PPAP during production.

• Handle internal and customer audits.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shift supervisors, operators, and line workers.

• Identify training needs and foster a culture of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.

Safety & Maintenance

• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

• Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime and ensure regular upkeep.

Education & experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in rubber hose, rubber products, automotive components, or process industries is preferred.
