Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the Team You will join an international engineering team building cloud-native digital platforms for global air and ocean freight logistics operations. The applications run on AWS-based Kubernetes infrastructure and are used worldwide across both customer-facing and mission-critical internal systems. Developers are encouraged to leverage modern AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, to improve productivity and code quality. The team follows a strong ownership mindset, taking responsibility for the full software lifecycle — from architecture and development to deployment, operations, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities

•Design and implement backend services and APIs

• Build scalable microservice-based applications using modern cloud-native technologies

• Take ownership of software solutions across their lifecycle

• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering automation

• Ensure software quality through testing and maintainable code design

• Participate in monitoring, operations, and reliability improvements of production systems

• Troubleshoot technical and business-related issues

• Collaborate closely with local and international team members

• Deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions on time

Technical Requirements

• 3+ years of backend software development experience

• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin

• Experience building REST APIs and microservice-based applications

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-based environments

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases

• Experience working with production systems and distributed environments

• Professional working proficiency in English

• Experience with Spring ecosystem

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

• Experience with scalable distributed systems

• Experience with shell scripting

• Experience with search and indexing technologies

• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix-based environments
