In this role, you will work across on-premise, cloud, and Kubernetes-based infrastructures, leveraging automation and Infrastructure as Code to deliver scalable and resilient networking solutions. You will collaborate closely with international teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of complex hybrid environments.
Network Installation and Support
Install, configure, and support on‑premise and virtualized network environments using technologies such as Extreme Networks, Cisco, Fortinet, and cloud networking services
Ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across physical infrastructure, virtual networks, and hybrid environments
Firewall & Network Security Management
Install, configure, and support firewalls and network security platforms (e.g. FortiGate, Cisco Firepower)
Integrate firewall and security concepts with cloud-native security controls (Azure NSG, AWS Security Groups, NACLs)
Support network segmentation and secure traffic flows in hybrid and cloud-connected environments
Network Design and Administration
Design, implement, and administer customer network environments including On‑prem networks, Cloud networks (Azure VNets / AWS VPCs), Kubernetes cluster connectivity
Develop solutions ensuring high availability, performance, resilience, and scalability
Kubernetes & Platform Connectivity
Support and troubleshoot network connectivity in Kubernetes environments, including: Pod-to-Pod, Pod-to
Service, external connectivity and Ingress and Egress traffic flows
Work with Container Network Interface (CNI) concepts (e.g. Calico, Cilium, Flannel)
Implement and maintain Kubernetes Network Policies in collaboration with platform and security teams
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
Design and operate hybrid connectivity between on‑prem and cloud environments (Site‑to‑Site VPN, Client VPN, ExpressRoute / Direct Connect where applicable)
Manage routing, CIDR planning, and traffic flows across on‑prem, Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes platforms
Support private connectivity patterns (Private Endpoints, internal load balancing)
Second-Level IT Support
Analyze and resolve complex network and connectivity issues across on‑prem, cloud, and Kubernetes layers
Network Monitoring, Observability & Administration
Monitor and administer network environments using central management and monitoring tools
Analyze traffic flows, logs, and metrics to proactively identify issues and optimize performance
Support observability for cloud and Kubernetes networking (flow logs, metrics, dashboards)
Incident Management
Manage, document, and resolve incidents using Jira
Perform structured root cause analysis for complex network and connectivity incidents
Communicate impacts and resolutions clearly to stakeholders
Network Optimization & Upgrades
Continuously assess and optimize network performance
Plan and execute upgrades including firmware updates, hardware replacements, and configuration improvements
Support modernization initiatives (automation, cloud integration, platform networking)
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
Support network infrastructure managed via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
Review and maintain network-related IaC templates
Reduce manual configuration through automation and API-driven workflows
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architectures, configurations, and changes
Document cloud and Kubernetes network designs and operational procedures
Produce reports on incidents, performance, and improvement measures
Disaster Recovery & Resilience
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and failover concepts for network infrastructure
Ensure backup and recovery procedures are tested and effective across on‑prem and hybrid environments
Audit & Compliance
